Julianne E. Murray Esquire

Former U.S. Attorney Julianne Murray was always a hardworking student.  As a result of her determination, she earned a full academic scholarship to the University of Arizona where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management Degree in 1992.

Longing to return to be near her family, Julianne relocated back to the East Coast and began working as a paralegal for a law firm in Virginia.  She married her husband Patrick in 2002 and shortly thereafter they relocated from Maryland to Delaware.  Julianne became the Administrator for a Georgetown law firm.  In 2008, at the age of 38, Julianne took on the challenge of attending law school.  She worked at the law firm and attended school full time until her 3rd year when she became an extern for Justice Henry duPont Ridgely of the Delaware Supreme Court.  In 2011, Julianne graduated, passed the Delaware Bar and was admitted to practice.

Once admitted to the Delaware bar, Julianne opened her own practice and hit the ground running.  She built her practice from the ground up and over the course of the next 15 years Julianne has helped thousands of Delawareans with their legal needs (both civil and criminal) and has been a champion of the U.S. and Delaware Constitutions. While Julianne’s primary focus is estate planning and estate administration, she also handles real estate transactions and will engage in litigation that is impactful to Delawareans. In 2020, Julianne sued the State of Delaware in federal court over COVID restrictions on short-term rentals. In 2021, Julianne sued the State of Delaware regarding the abridgement of citizens’ rights as a result of Zoom hearings in the General Assembly. In 2022, Julianne sued the State of Delaware over unconstitutional vote-by mail while she was a candidate for Attorney General. In 2023 and 2024, Julianne was a frequent legal contributor on a national news network.

Most recently Julianne served as the United States Attorney for the District of Delaware and has now returned to private practice and joined the firm as a partner.  Julianne is looking forward to serving the needs of Delawareans across all three counties.

When Julianne isn’t at the office, she is spending time with her husband Patrick and dogs Clementine, Charley, Kelbie and Sunny.
