Craig de Mariana Aleman is the Managing Attorney at Aleman & Associates and is consistently recognized as one of the best corporate and real estate attorneys in Delaware.
Craig represents developers, lenders, community members, landlords and investors in projects involving acquisitions, dispositions, development, land use, zoning, planning, leasing, construction financing and permanent mortgage financing throughout the Delaware region.
Projects include office buildings, apartment buildings, condominiums, shopping centers, warehouses, communications towers, residential developments, single family homes, and specialized areas within the real estate arena.
Craig connects with his clients, because he fights in the trenches with them. In addition to practicing law, Craig is an entrepreneur and the CEO of Aleman Fitzgerald Properties, LLC a rising real estate investment firm with over 250 commercial and residential units. Additionally, he is the owner of a successful construction company, and until recently, an award winning restaurant (which he ultimately sold).
Craig graduated from the University of Delaware with his Bachelors degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice and his Masters degree in Public Administration. He attended Emory University School of Law, where he focused on Corporate and Real Estate law, clerked at the Atlanta Immigration Court and graduated with his Juris Doctor degree as well as a Certificate in Transactional Law.
Prior to practicing law, Craig worked as an immigration policy analyst on Capitol Hill, where he studied Congressional immigration reform proposals and advocated for a comprehensive solution to the nation’s immigration system.
Craig and his beautiful Bride, Mirla, a Realtor at Linda Vista Real Estate Services, are behind much of the redevelopment and revitalization of Downtown Seaford, Delaware. They currently live in Seaford with their two sons, Enzo and Mateo.
When Craig isn’t working, you can catch him spending time with his Family, whether it’s in one of Sussex County’s Downtowns or traveling across the globe. Life is short and Craig endeavors to make everyday count. He looks forward to working with you to help build and protect your wealth.
